Uses for the AC (2-prong outlet)?

Post by tots »

Just wondering what (or if) folks are using the Vibe's AC outlet for? Laptops seem like an obvious use, but is enough power produced to run say a blender, or a vacumn? The outlet seems like a neat idea when you 1st hear about it, I'm not sure if there are many uses for it in practice. (?)

I haven't used mine at all. I've considered using it to vacuum the car out, but then for some reason I've never done it.

This is not the standard search before starting a new topic blast, but a happy helpful tip that there was a previous discussion on this is at What are people plugging into their standard power outlet? This reply is invisible

Call me crazy, but I swear we had this conversation before... and if I remember correctly it went on and on and on... Maybe I should run out the the car, make a smoothie and try to remember... oh wait here it is http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=193/

I tried using a dirt devil vacuum when I first got my car in march, and it worked for about 2 seconds, then the breaker tripped. Haven't tried anything since.
