2003 vibe radio lights not showing

I have a 2003 Vibe GT. The radio works fine but the display where the time and station show up is not lit. Does anyone know if this could be just a fuse that needs replacing? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

As far as the radio goes, I believe the display is backlit, so the bulbs are out.

this happened to mine. the lights did go out. that's why i just replaced the factory stereo with a double din.

Have had this issue twice, it began to dim on one side then blacked out completely. I tapped it with my finger the first time and it came back on. and the second time it came back on its own after being off for a couple hours. Not sure what happened but give I'd give it a while before you replace it. Mine still works fine

my 04 was going dim on the right side. then the sound went out on the left and I figured I needed a new radio. Then 2 weeks later i noticed the display was fine, turned it on and the sound was fine also. This was the second stock radio. The fist one was replaced under warrentee for a ground fault. Never really believed that they swapped it.

Depending on skill level, you can replace the LCD backlight bulbs in the OEM radio
