How do you get to the spark plugs?

I changed my oil the other day and thought I'd take a look at the spark plugs, and realized I wasn't sure how to get to them. I couldn't find any info in the manual.

both engines you will need to remove the engine cover (black plastic) should be 2 10mm nuts in front and 2 plastic clips in the rear (1ZZ engine) the 2ZZ .....should be 4, then unplug the coil packs, remove the 10mm bolt. and you now have access to the plug.

Just use a small bladed screwdriver to pry up the center then it can gently popped out of the cover1

i lift the cover up in front and sorta roll the cover back...SLOWLY not to break the clips. i have used the screw driver before and break them sometimes.
