This kit works great. For $12 you can easily restore two pretty good size very yellowed plastic headlight lenses. It has 4 grit sizes of sand paper so if the lense isn't in too bad of shape you just start out with the medium grit paper then the least grit then the polishing compound and rag.I did cheat a little by using a polishing bonnet on my drill motor for the last pass.http://www.permatex.com/resource_auto_lit.htm
Base Two Tone Satellite, Auto, & Pwr Pkg....my current commuting car.
Nope...no photos. The Permatex site has some, just follow the link and open the lense restoration pdf doc. The 97 Taurus and 04 Vibe lenses that I did looked in the same condition as the before pic., scratched and yellowed.

It's what i used to use to polish the cut edges of plexiglass for audio systems...
If only that stuff would fix the itty bitty cracks that you can see but not feel when you get where a rock smacks the light hard... I've had that happen two cars in a row now, bummer.I'm really (removed) about the appearance of my headlights, I once replaced a set on my Malibu because they were starting to yellow. That bugs the heck outta me, I can deal with the pitting to an extent but the yellow - nope. I'll have to check this stuff out if my lights get in bad shape.
