actually I checked on UPS and they have shipped it the only bad thing is that the arrival date is the 27th!!! Does it really take that long from VA to CA? Well the good thing is that its all bolt on so its fine. What do I need to do? Do I need to jack the car up and get way in there? Will I need (or make it easier) help? Anything I should know that will make it easier? Will it come with instructions? Are they clear? Thanks for any help!

One other thing, spray the rubber hangers down with some WD-40. Makes it easier to remove them. You will see what I'm talking about when the time comes. It's a very easy job to do.

Good call! I would have had the exhaust swapped in under ten minutes including drinking a beer if I had just oiled those darn hangers right at the beginning! Pete

Hi rasermon... I was wondering if you or anyone else would consider this mod for a non-CAI engine? I'm enjoying adding and chancing the few things I've done so far. This seems like a project that, though a bit more pricey than Groundwires, might make a nice little project for me and something I can tell people, "Yeah, I did that myself too".I'm assuming the sound won't be quite the same and the performance gains would be next to nil but what do you all think? GT here.Dave

Isn't the package with the CAI and the exhaust for like $550? Would be better than buying the exhaust now then later buying a CAI.

Hi wicked, but ofr me, I'm not sure about installing a CAI. I'm fairly happy with what I have... I don't want to increase the sound too much, don't seem to have problems with Horsepower, would just like to tweak the sound a little while maybe gaining a hp or 2... and I do like the look... so... I don't think the combo is for me.As for others, yeah, seems like a good deal.Dave

Dont exacly remember how it sounded before the intake but its not too loud unless you put the gas to the floor otherwise its quiet. The exhaust is louder than the intake I think. But its up to you you can always change your mind and do it later. I just mentioned it because you knock off a couple dollars if you buy the combo. Im waiting on the exhaust right now according to UPS its in Jan 23, 2004 2:38 P.M. HODGKINS, IL, US DEPARTURE SCAN. Expected arrival 27th Jan. Cant wait!!

Well finally.... Went to UPS.com to check the status of my exhaust and its here in CA and out for delivery so should get it later today. I will take some pictures when I put it on (tonight unless something comes up) in case anyone needs them, has questions or just wants to see them.

I will use my digital camera to take pics and Ill take some video and ill post it up. I guess Ill do a before and after so everyone can get an idea of the change. Ill take my bro with me he can sit in the back seat or something because the CAI is pretty loud when I slam on the gas see if I can try to get the exhaust noise instead on intake.

Thanx for the sound and video Razor. Sounds sweet! Looks good too! I seen somewhere, were they asked about swapping the GT oval style with the round base style. Don't do it. They are tuned for the out put of your engine. It wouldn't hurt it but you won't get the performance your lookin for.

ok, so i'll probably be getting the combo now that I see that the labor wasn't bad. Now, is it gonna pass emissions?????? My only question about changing, AND, does this mess with the waranty of my car adding "performance" mods??

It does not change emission and about the warranty I think it does void certain things. Not exacly sure on what but Im sure it does.

Would someone like to hear a different type of exhaust? I didn't do the bolt-on type, I did a full cat-back system with a weld-on aftermarket exhaust. My Vibe is in the shop but I should have it back soon. Just thought it might be interesting comparing the two types of exhausts

I'll call the shop tomorrow and see about how much longer it'll be before it's up and running again. This is an older pic, but it gives a nice view of the car (This one has been posted before)

Just for S&G's....I was wondering Has anyone taken the sport exhaust tip and attached to the Borla Cat-back? I love the look of my tip vs. the Borla
