04 Vibe ignition wire help

well, bought a vibe as a project with the head removed and in a million pieces. cannot figure out where to plug this wire in. car will start and run but is hard to start and runs rough. any help appreciate.

What year Vibe? (OK '04) What engine is in your Vibe? 2WD or 4WD?Dave

its a 2004GT , 2WD 1.8This wire is coming off of the #1 coil. Coming from the driver side the harness goes to 4,3,2,1 this is the last single wire sticking off the end. blue/red. has a holder on it to clip somewhere. about 6 inches in total length.thanks

welcome to genvibecould it be the power steering pressure switch? On mine (which is a base, not a GT) it goes down to the power steering pump, which is low on the rear passenger side of the engine.

hmm, that could be it. too dark to see where it might plug in but it does reach and there is nothing currently plugged in the pump...but I found another problem. timing chain tensioner is not installed...and not in the spare parts I got...bummer.
