Roof starting to leak

Post by CatharineSnyder »

2003 Vibe. Roof has begun to leak just above the driver side where the cloth part of the roof and the top of the windshield support meet. Any ideas where I should do?

Is it have a sunroof? If so make sure the sunroof drain hoses are not blocked or disconnected. If not check the sear on the windshield as it maybe worn and allowing water in

My Vibe has done this!! Where the cloth meets the hard plastic around the door. It leaked good, like a slow steady drip.

It does have a moonroof. I'll have to check the forum to see how to find the drains to see if they are clogged.MrsSlocum - what was wrong with yours and how did you get it fix?

Pulled them out and problem solved! Easy to see, just open the roof, stick your head out and look in the front corners, you'll see two holes towards the front of the opening.Dave

^ Thanks for that! I'll have to take a peek at it tomorrow. Hopefully that's all it is!
