I must have a very slow leak in one of my tires. The tire pressure warning came on today. The left rear tire was down to about 23 psi. It has been awhile but I think that tire lost air when it was on the left front and I got the same warning. After adding air that time I kept checking it for a couple of months and it didn't seem to be losing air. Last rotation was 6 months ago and it was ok at that time. After bringing up the pressure today the warning light went off - didn't have to do any reset or drive it. I carry a portable inflator with me at all times. At home I have a Black & Decker prortable battery (Versapak) operated inflator which is easier to use.

My Vibe GT has been very "tight" and thus never needed any air to this day (2.5 years old & counting) ..... BUT our son's 2009 Vibe GT has TWO tires, both in front & worn pretty bad (37000+ miles on them) that lose air very slowly. One requires air about every 6-7 weeks and the other about every 4-5 months. YES ... I'm glad we have the TPS system to alert this of the low tire condition
Quote, originally posted by joatmon »sounds like the pressure warning system was useful. give the tire a good visual next time you rotate them, maybe you picked up a nailI put those tire pressure monitor value stem caps on my 2007 T&C that does not have the warnign system so you can visually check to see if there is underinflation. Go them on eBay.
