...Dont have a Vibe....YETlooking at (2) 2009 GT's.one red one whiteQuestions:With the Vibe being discontinued, I am wondering how hard will it be to get parts, for example the GT front bumper. If I crack that thing will I be able to get another one? What are your experiences.Man I love these 2 GT's!!!!NoBigDeal
Honestly we won't really know about parts until down the road, but I don't think it will be much of a problem. I'm not worried about it. Just be careful and try not to crack the bumper .I absolutely love my '09 GT! I couldn't be happier with it! I'm sure you will love which ever one you end up getting as well.

Welcome to GenVibe!!! Quote, originally posted by nobigdeal »... If I crack that thing will I be able to get another one?Well.. be careful so you don't have to find out! I'm sure that parts will be available for a few years and by the time they're discontinued you should be able to find them at the wreckers

Hey Welcome! about the parts I think car manufacturers are required by law to keep an inventory of replacement parts for at least ten years after any model car ends production. So you should be fine as for as that goes.I think you'll love the GT. I'd try to get one with a manual if it were me but I'm sure the auto shift thing works good as well. The vibe and the matrix are such good cars that its ridiculous. uhh especially GT's.

When I bought mine.. dealer said they would be making parts long after I got rid of it. I really like mine.. Though.. watch out for the front bumper clips breaking on either side.. mine are.. and so are a few others.. As far as a bumper you could always find one at a junk yard and what not.. mine as not been cracked yet.. And im only 19.. So you could guess how I drive And I vote for white too.. I see MANY red ones.. not so many whites!
Welcome, regardless of color choice! I'm actually partial to Wave Blue, but I bought a red two-tone several years before they made Wave Blue, because the price was right.
My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.
Get the silver (Liquid Platinum Metallic)! You can see two fine examples of great looking LPM GTs in my signature (mine is on the right and Areles' is on the left).
