excuse my ignorance. but I just bought my vibe a couple of days ago. and it needs new blades all around. I got the fronts replaced, but how does the rear one come off? Do I just need to just remove the rubber portion itself? or can I take it off like the fronts?
You can just replace the rubber. Best bet it to buy a replacement blade twice the length so you can cut it in half to have two uses out of one blade. Make sure you keep the metal supports in case the new one doesn't come with any. Otherwise, I think it's around $15 for the whole rear piece, plastic included.

When I replaced my front blades, I cut the rubber on the old blade & used it for the rear wiper. Save $$$

This may not be cheap, but Trico now makes Exact Fit replacement blades for our Vibes. At substantial savings over my dealer's cost for the factory blade. 2009-10 Blade, driver side (Exact Fit) = 26-12009-10 Blade, passenger side (Exact Fit) = 17-12009-10 Blade, rear (Exact Fit) = 11-A
I dont use my rear wiper that often. In the morning to wipe off the dew & also in HEAVY rain during rainy season.
