Air conditioning trouble, please help!

ok here's the low-down on the trouble I'm having:'04 vibe, 80k milesair blows hard, but is warm, about the same as the outside tempplenty of refrigerant (40 psi,) no leakscompressor cycles on and off properlythis problem began suddenly, not graduallyruled out relay switch and fusesanyone have any ideas, tips, or suggestions? I don't want to spend a fortune on parts that I don't need...

Well, if everything is as you say.... AC system seems to be ok, I would suspect the ductwork.... a door/bypass/cutoff/whatever is not letting the cold air into the ducts. Broken cable, that kinda thing. Good luck.

If you put it on defrost and set the temp low, do you get cool air blown onto the windshield??

I'd bet money its your a/c compressor clutch-- seems to be a reoccurring problem around here. http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=41023
