well the obvious pros are the gains you get from it. hes more pep to it. and unless you have a heavy foot like me you should really loose gas mileage. they're going to be hard to come by since they stopped making em for the vibe
pros:little more powerit whines in a way that doesnt irritate you better gas mileage (if driving for it)cons:needs maintenance (usually 80-100k miles coupler and oil)another part to breakfull kits are hard to findnot super expensive anymore but they are usually 100-1500. Need to make sure you get the right pcm or a piggy back to tune with.
they run 1500-2500 now... most who own them have modified them and added better engine management and they are all used and hard to come by now. Which is why they cost more now.pros, easy to installMinor HP gainbasicly reliable if you maintain it.cons, minor HP gain and really no room for improvement. No parts, or hard to find parts if something breaks.crappy gas mileageheat mongor

Pros:*Improved performance across the entire RPM range. Ups the fun factor dramatically.*Will shave about 2 seconds off your 0-60 time and almost as much off your 1/4 mile time (Stock I ran 17.8, best w/SC 15.9 with some wheel spin. Could probably pick up a bit more with a set of sticky tires.)*No real impact on milage if you keep your foot out of it (good luck). Expect 27 MPG city, 32-33 MPG highway when driving normally. *Sounds fantastic when boosting.*Ability to spin the wheels through first off the line at will.*Passes emission testing here in IL.Cons:*Hard to find complete kits in good shape.* Best 1/4 mile time 15.9. Real performance cars will walk you. (Though you can surprise a lot of the posers/ricers)* Potential power gains are very limited when compared to a good turbo set-up.* Well driven GT's/XRS's will pull you on the top end.
Superchargers have better driveabilityMore low end pep and more linear powerTurbos have more top end power but less control over it..also turbos are not parasites like supers and tend to give better mpg's

If sized correctly a turbo will be at full spool at 1500-2000rpm. If you go nutz with a huge turbo yes it will take it till 3500-4500 to be at full spoolWhat do you mean by "less control"? Other than that, you are correct.
