new brakes = new noise!!

ok guys help me out here. just did a brake job on my wifes car. got the rotors turned and new crem pads. at first every thing was fine but now. bout 2 weeks later. ive got this crazy noise when i come to a stop. it not your average brake noise. its no a constant noise its kinda a whamp. whamp . whamp and i cant figure it out. any ideas?

first thing i would do is check your lug nuts. Could be loose. Then check the caliper bolts.

I had the brakes on my 2003 done by my local dealer two summers ago and had the same kind of thing happen. There was absolutely no effect on braking performance, only a lot of scary noises under braking.I thought it was that maybe they used the wrong pads, or failed to install them properly (shims, perhaps?), but the after letting the 'Service Writer' (using the term loosely) drive the car and keep it for a day, he said that the rotors were somehow turned out-of-round, the dealership bought me new rotors. Problem solved, and it hasn't returned.

ok ill check the lug nuts but after driving it tonight with the windows down i noticed. the loud whamp whamp noise stops when you let of the pedal but for a lil bit ther is still a slight "grinding squeal" in the same noise pattern for a lil while after you start moving agian

pulling everything back apart this weekend. i'll run the rotors back n have them cecked. im gona pull every thing apart and clean it all then lube the slides anyone have any sug. on anything special i should do. (what all should i lube and what lubes should i use?)
