Ok, so everyone who has worked on their horns knows that the two screws needing to be removed on opposite ends of hte grilles are countersunk into rubber bumpers...so over time with me unscrewing and screwing them back in (through my numerous horn installs)...one of the screws heads has become completely stripped...so the only way i have been able to remove it is by pulling the bumper off and using pliers to untwist the head -- resulting in me scratching the hell out of my facia (thankfully, under the hood, where it's not visible). Anyway, I looked up the part number, adn the part number for "Bumper, Hood Stop" is 88970437...and it's list price is $15.51!!!Now, I don't need the damn rubber piece. All I need is a stinking screw. Does anyone know if this bumper assembly (A) includes the screw, and (B) if the screw is available solo?I'd go buy a generic screw, but it needs to have the right head to proeprly hold on to the rubber bumper.

Take the old screw to a GOOD hardware store and see if you can find a match. I recommend looking for a stainless steel version of you can find one.If you can't find one at a hardware store, try a big auto parts store.KSNeptune
Thats why I emphasized going to a GOOD hardware store. We have Home Depot, Walmart, Kmart, and a few lumber yards that carry "some" standard screws and nuts. But we also have a "Waters True Value" hardware store that has an entire aisle of tiny drawers with almost any kind of nut, bolt, screw, washer, etc., you could imagine. I've always been able to find matching whatevers there when no place else in town had them.KSNeptune
Yeah, I know that. I checked there.I need a freaking screw. Not the whole damn assembly. I'm not about to pay $18 for a screw!!! (that site charges base of 7.50 shipping) Anything over $1 is absurd!!!
