I tried searching but couldn't find anything. We bought a '07 Vibe and it had only one set of keys and remote. The dealer wanted about $150 for a replacement remote, programming, and cutting a key.I found a seller on ebay midwestkeyless. He had new and used remotes that come with a free key blank. I bought a used one in great condition for $18 shipped. It included instructions for how to program it. Link to Vibe Items:http://motors.search.ebay.com/...fgtp= The directions to program it can be found here:http://ebiz.netopia.com/pyr/toy451/ After following the crazy instructions, it worked like a charm. I actually received a remote that has a Toyota emblem on the back. Also it has a panic button which the standard Vibe remote didn't have.I also called the local dealership and they said they'd cut the key for free because I already had a blank. All in all, $18 bucks for a remote and key is pretty sweet. I am in no way affiliated with this seller, just sharing what I found.

I understand there is a limit on how many remotes can be programmed - never understood why - "how do it know?".

It was a weird thing when the doors started locking and unlocking by themselves as part of the sequence. But it worked, just like it said it would.Quote, originally posted by jake75 »I understand there is a limit on how many remotes can be programmed - never understood why - "how do it know?".I hear 4 remotes is the magic number. Not sure why it matters, but that's what I hear.
