Im down for potluck, going somewhere for lunch/dinner what ever Im easy and picky. If we do Potluck What would be good to bring along on a 6.5 hr drive?Aron
Vibe is gone and will be missed as I've gone country style
Quote, originally posted by rebbierae »6.5 hour drive means nothing in a Vibe--plug a crock pot in to that outlet!LOL Well how about chips and or pop/ (beer?) Gretch
I can do chips, pop, and beer If we do the potluck, but I can't plug in a crock pot as my outlet is inoperable.I sent out about 15 IMs today to fellow members in the IL,WI,MN, and IA area that have been active in the past few weeks to try and spark up a little more interest.Aron

I have to feather my clutch all crazy...remember its the slowest drag race Um idk if my clutch can handle more learning I may of already burn it up by may hahhaha
Problem with a potluck is if someone doesnt show we cant eat They do have shelters there with bbq's, so we can bbq and such. Otherwise there are tons of restaurants in the area. Im okay with either one.
Quote, originally posted by Kamikaze »IDK what to bring for a pot luck (i'm terrible at those things) but I could probably pitch in and bring a cooler with some pop.Hey bring whatever you want just BEBEBE there!

You know I would love to see a drivetru back to back with VIBES that would be fuuny lol.
Quote, originally posted by Kamikaze »We could hit up Porky's on University... I'm kidding, but it would be a pretty interesting site. That would be pretty funny, seeing a bunch of grocery getters, and that one MINI, driving thru..haha. But University is getting crazy now. Too many cops just looking for cars to give tickets too.
hmmm well I got an idea, Im committed to coming so is my friend, so if most people want to bbq, lets plan to bbq and get a list of what people can/will bring. Then when its closer to the time we can keep a eye on the weather and if it raining we can go some where. I can try and get there early to keep a shelter if anyone wants to join me

We don't need no stinkin silverwarenapkins: Since we don't need no stinkin silverware... napkins are probably a must.If anyone brings something that requires silverware... they might want to bring something...I had posted before that I could bring the pop/cooler, anything specific people want?Any vegan or vegetarians? What kind of hotdog's do people like? All beef would be preferred I would assume. Do people want seasoned burgers or just plain and maybe have some powder seasoning that can be used if wanted?byob - sure! I dont mind swaping brews if someone else brings something too. The issue now is how much people want to spend ie. meet will cost a bunch, paper plates are fairly cheap. We also still need a real count of how many people PLUS passengers, so we can get a head count of who will be eating. It will be me and my friend Jeff, both of us will bring something, just need to talk to him quick before we comment on what it will be that we bring.
I guess I started this so I get to be the PIERO so that's all the light them up stuff!!!-charcoal-lighter fluid-fire starting device-burger flipper-grill cleaner/scraper As for foods I think we just need some burgers and a poll pepsi or coke? And as for beer I'm guessing bring what you like. Food(s):Burgershotdogs bratscatsoupmustardhotdog bunsburger bunsother toppingspop - Brentbeer? - BYOBwater (byow?)chipsdipplatessilverwarenapkins Oh and we need a head count
Ok head count1. SheVibe2. TRDmatrixXR_AWD3. Kamikaze4. Breezd5. Northvibe6. Audiovibe7. BlueCrush8. and JeffI'm I missing someone or a plus one for anyone?I left out the maybe people.

They all have links back to this thread. I didn't see anything on their sites for bringing anything yet. I can make a note about that tonight, unless someone else gets to them first.

Aron hit me up for this meet, and I think it'll work into my schedule nicely. I'll also be bringing my fiance. Plus, it's the weekend before finals, too, so it'll be a nice break. Count me in. Will someone post what is needed still for potlucking so I know what to bring? I'd appreciate it. I'll see you all then.-Thomas

She's taken a few good hits in the past little while. Mostly paint scratches, etc. I'm hoping to get some advice on maintaining them until I have money to get her repainted. I'm going to check the forums first, though. Can't wait to be part of this group again!

if someone wants to pick something up, burgers could be also brought by someone else. how much food can people eat so we know how many hotdogs/burgers to have on hand.I mean i can eat 4 dogs or but 2-3 burgers depending on size and how long we bbq. I have to eat ever 2 hours or i get grumpy
I just relocated out here & bought my Vibe yesterday; I live about 15min. away from the site, so I and my boyfriend will definitely be there! If we can get a head count, I will see if I can make some hamburgers (my boyfriend grinds the meat & mixes in cheese). In any event, we have lots of paper towels and paper plates & bowls left from when we were in temp housing for a month. Do folks eat artichokes? I have a really good grilled artichoke recipe, which can be good for finger food as well as if there are any vegetarians coming.
i wish i lived around there..sounds like a good time..we have like 3 guys up here for a meet..lola good 14 hour trip(892 miles) from my house to there..maybe this summer later on..plan to visit a friend(vibewithano) sometime
