The IACV is a black plastic sensor at the bottom of the trottle body. It looks like two aluminum screws. I was trying to remove and clean it to help the car's vibration, rough idling. I tried a torq bit T-15 which seemed to have some bite but it spun out . Looking to strip them both if I keep experimenting, if I haven't done so,already. I have an 2004 2 wheel drive Vibe. Has anyone taken this sensor off?I wish I knew the orentaion of the screws, if you can get a torx bit on them, screwdriver like, go to Harbor Freight and get a "Impact Driver" it's a screwdriver that you have to hit with a hammer, yes, I said hammer... I had to do the VERY same thing to my Subaru, same deal with the aluminum screws, except mine were Phillips, making it even worse.... The impact driver got them out with NO swearing..
