Oh, I know. This is actually my second Jack. My last was a long-legged broken coat female. Actually, her picture is my avatar on here. She was a sweetheart but went by the wayside when I got engaged.

last weekend we picked up a new puppy for the folks. She is a "designer" dog: half Bishon Frise and half Coton. hypoallergenic and very very few genetic or health issues. My parents just lost their dog (my old dog) Poohbear to unknown caused (they think it may have been cancer of the throat. My mom missed her so much and my dad was a complete wreck. the dog went everywhere with them... they didn't want another dog that reminded them of her, so this one is pure white with a little apricot paws. she is just a little fluff ball and cute as can be! We named her Gucci because afterall, she is a designer dog! me with Poohbear (6 mos old) back in '99Gucci (my dad is so happy)
My zoo consists of: Brittany (aka: BooBoo), 9/10yr Black Roughcoat Chow Chow--the dog in my Avatar sporting her summer hair-do; Zephram, 2yr fawn Pug; and Maggie Mae, 7yr black Pug. These guys are all rescues. Than there is Jasmine, 4yr Solomon Island Eclectus; Kazoo, 3yr Goffin Cockatoo; and Sky, 7mth English Budgie. Anya is our Dwarf Hamster who was rescued from an ugly situation. Marcy is our newest addition, a little black gerbil. I think that's it. Our list of critters has dwindled quite a bit over the last two years. Linda

What size tank you got? I want one; I've got just the right empty space in mind for a nice tank (or two or...LOL) because I love fish too, but sadly, they don't last very long with me (neither do houseplants, but dogs and birds live until their late teens!) Every time I take my dog to the vet, in the waiting room they've got this 55 with the biggest marbled angel and neon tetra I've ever seen. That angel was as big as my fist, if not more, and the neon was more than an inch long.
Our kitty Odi who is over 15 years old has been diagnosed with kidney disease. He's such a beautiful cat. We are feeding him low protein food, and now medication. Hopefully it will help him live a bit longer. Here he is last week enjoying the fall weather.

My gf's springer spaniel, and my heinz57. Don't they look overjoyed at being photographed, rather than fed? Playing with a stick, Boomer's favorite. I get this on a daily basis. She's almost 9 years old, and nothing makes her happier than to have me throw a tennis ball with her. I wish everything in life could be that easy.
My German Shepherd is nine. Every day, as soon as I get home from work, we go out and play ball. Rain, snow, sun. Hot or cold. Day or night. Nothing gets in the way of playing ball.
