I found 2 threaded bolt holes into the pan of the car under the front area of the front seat (on the raised area the seat sits on. My Vibe is '05 Base. Can anyone tell me what those holes are or could be for. I am attaching photos from two angles. Thanks.
Only thing I could think of is if those are pre drilled from the factory for the amp for the Voltz (right hand drive so the amp would be on the left side)Just a guess....
the thread title says the holes are under the right front of front seat. This pic of yours shows the holes and a floormat hook So, the holes are under the right front of the driver's side seat? If my '03 has those bolt holes, the carpet is not cut away like it is in yoursMaybe they are for the external CD changer that came with the factory navigation head unit. EDIT, no, the external CD changer with the NAV system goes under the passenger seat, replacing the M&T amp.
just a question?is the front section of the floorpan exclusively vibe? it could be the front floorpan section of the Corolla and Vibe are interchangeable. In our plant the Chevy floor pan and GMC floor pan are the same sheetmetal but different locations for various things to bolt down to. just a guess though.
