Removing Door Panel with Manual Window

Hi!This is my first post. I want to thank everyone in advance, because I've already read a lot of good advice that I've applied on my 2007 Vibe. I just bought a Pioneer CD deck and speakers for my Vibe and found the instructions to take out the door panel in the Forum, but after doing a search couldn't find instructions on how to remove the window cranks on my manual windows. Any help will be appreciated.Thanks,Frank GMiami, FL

You have to get the clip off on the crank itself.I have a tool to do this or you can use needle-nose pliers,or you can use 2 jewellers screwdrivers and push the clip out.

If you push the door panel away from the handle, toward the outside of the car it will expose the clip... once you have the handle off, snap the clip back onto it so you don't lose it to...

I once saw an old timer remove the clip by sliding a strip of t-shirt behind the crank. The clip got snagged in the cloth and popped right out without losing it.

WHen you go to put it on, it is easiest to put the clip back on the handle, then push the handle over the post. Always put the clip on with the opening facing the handle, so you will know which way to pull it off the next time.
