Yes and no. There is a filter, but it is in the fuel tank itself. Not the easiest thing to replace compared to the older cars that just had a filter in the line somewhere. So therefore, it's not a routine maintenance item... It's only changed when you experience issues with the flow of fuel, doesn't ever require changing under normal circumstances.

I traded in my vibe at just under 70k and never did anything with the fuel system...Though with the longevity of the vibes on this board, 70k is pitiful.

Here is a pic of the Vibe-Matrix-Corolla fuel filter to the right of the oil filter:It would take a lot of dirt before a filter that big would need to be replaced!
