I find the Recharge kits are for cleaning.. they usually come with Cleaner and the oil.. I usually clean my filter 1-2 times a year.. but obviously the more dirtier/kms you do, its worth to clean it more often.. in the long run it will be cheaper to clean a K&N air filter than buying a new crappy stock air filter every 20,000 kms..cheersMartin

i thought the whole point of these filters was that they were oiled....cause the filter can allow more air in while the oil traps the particulate matter.
after you oil you just want to make sure...100% SURE that its dry. if you over oil your filter it will cause a CEL and dirty the MAF. so when i oiled mine i left it sit over night.
