That would be the new smog line for the '05+ Base Vibes. You cannot use just any intake. It will need to have a port to accomodate that hose. Right now only Cosmo makes a CAI that will work for that set-up. There is a new person on here (shanemade) that is using a Weapon-r Secret Intake (Short Ram) with out any CEL's at this time. There may be other Short Rams that will work with the '05+. If you do decide to go with the Cosmo you'd better oder it fast as they are in short supply and high demand. Good luck!

thanks blue, i saw shanemades' first post in the lounge which brought up the discussion of the weapon r intake, i was the first one to responed to it, i just wasnt sure what it was cause i didnt see it in his pics unless i missed it. so if i get a weapon r will i have to take off the engine cover to do something with that hose or will it just hang down where it is. psycho just so we're on the same page, i realize that the main hose from the air box to the throttle body gets removed.
