Why didn't I get a Scion?????

Post by damronjr »

I just heard a clip on the radio about how Scion is having an event at a local dealer where they are getting al the San Diego Scion's together for a show/contest. Prizes will be given for best xA, xB, and tC! Then they said Scion will be starting a new San Diego Scion Club! Must be nice to have such great dealer/manufacturer/aftermarket support huh?!?

they're actually not that bad. my girlfriend got an xA a couple weeks ago, and it rides nice, and definitely looks better than the echo that it 'replaced.' like jason said, the rear hatch area is tight in space but its a nice little ride. and T0NS of mods available

Looked at from an objective standpoint, there is really nothing to recommend the xA, xB, or tC over any of the other cars with near the same level of aftermarket support in that or near that price bracket (I'm talking used here). Toyota stuck its fingers into a culture that already existed and co-opted it for its marketing campaign; it made cars that are no more than economy cars (and a new Solara-check the engine) into hot products with the youth.
