Fill plug for transmission oil on 6-speed

Post by 2001FZ1 »

I took a picture of what I though would be the two possibilties for filling the transmission. Which one is it? #1 or #2? Thanks!!

And I used #2...so I guess either one works.

Either one may work but which one will allow getting the correct amount of fluid in? Or are they at the same level so it doesn't matter? Thanks!

The repair manual refers to #1 as being the fill hole.

I'm going to use what the repair manual says to use. It will be easier to get to anyway. Thanks guys!
