Acutally... you can get a polish sausage at Home Depot! At least at the ones around here (Chicago/Northwest Indiana area). Most of them have a hot dog stand vendor in the front vestibule serving food, snacks, and beverages.
Are you Polish? yes 1/4, both parents of one of my grandmothers immigrated from there. At least 1/4 Irish, and the rest of the lineage is an indeterminate mix of Dutch, English, French, etc. Near impossible to do any genealogy research in Poland, that country has been stomped by the east and west so many times that most records are non-existent.
