Woo hoo, the yellow fog protectors came in today. The painting looks very well done - almost like the material itself is yellow. I'll have these installed in a couple of days. I have to figure out how to get my old fog overlays off of there first. But many pictures to come for sure. Thanks, Toolguy! Good job on these.

They are now installed, and I'm quite pleased. Good job on these, Todd. Due to my funky sleep schedule, I was unable to get these installed prior to sundown, but I will have some pictures up tomorrow of the car during the day. Nice finish on them, nice fit, easy to install, and strong velcro. Very nice. And now, here are a few pics... Feel free to browse my album for more.Looking forward to seeing what these things look like in the daylight. Adds some much needed protection while also giving your car a personal touch, can't go wrong there!

CP, is the fit really that poor on those things? It seems to have a huge gap on one side...Everyone seems to love them but every photo on here show fit issues...Not trolling, just curious...

I don't think the gap is anything excessive, personally. Considering the thickness of the material, the contours of the light's surface and the bumper surrounding the light, I think they fit fine. Lexan just can't conform to the shapes of the surface like a film would. If the gaps on mine seem excessive, that's probably "installer issues" on my part, I may not have them aligned just so. At any rate, gaps or no gaps, if it will keep me from having to spend hundreds of dollars on this car that I really don't have, these are so worth it.

Okay, question answered...I would just worry about light escaping around the edges...of course I get up to check if my car is locked a few times a night...OCD is a *****...

Being flat plastic they will not ever lay flat like CP said... Also the heat needs to be able to dissipate, you want a gap... Good observation in general however since you have never seen one in person future customers need to keep in mind, I offer a 10 day money back guarantee, written into the instructions. I stand behind my products and if someone accidentally installs them wrong, I will mail out new fasteners to correct it, no charge. Looking good! No doubt they will probably pay for themselves, just give it some time. As I've always mentioned here, the Vibe is still pretty rare where I live - and wouldn't you know, last week I finally had a Vibe sighting with, you guessed it - a fog light that fell victim to an impact. I'm really liking mine. I think I'm well over 1,000 miles on them thus far and they're doing great. The fogs have been used for that entire time as well, and the paint still looks great after all that baking.

Okay scratch that last note! I guess I am ordering yellow ones instead. According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety "Amber" is the ONLY legal "Color" other than white allowed for fog lights. Red lights are strictly prohibited and only to be used by emergency vehicles.
