Cool find with the triangle thing. I'm not too surprised about it though. On the base that I work, we have designs carved into the lake bed where the jets fly. Here's a pic of the lakebed I see every time I drive into work. If you look in the top-left corner, you can see a parked jet that you can use for size reference.

I'd say it qualifies as the plane in flight in the treasure hunt other thread, unless it's sinking in that river.

Mase, maybe I'm the only one having this problem but all your files come up as .zip files and the links don't work when I open them. Just wondering. Maybe I am doing something wrong. All the other .kmz files work fine.

I noticed that when clicking on other people's links too. I have no idea why they get uploaded as a .zip. They're all .kmz files when I save them.

Ok, you guys got me hooked on this Google Earth deal....How about checking out all the fighter jets, B-52's, A-10's, etc. at Nellis AFB near Las Vegas. There's jets all over the grounds at this AFB, not just where I put the thumbtack. Just across the highway from here is also the Las Vegas motor speedway.P.S. I guess I'm not doing it right also. I'm saving the .kmz file, but it's coming up as a zipped doc file when I upload it here.(?)

KML/KMZ files are data files for Google Earth. Google Earth is a mapping application that you have to download and install on your PC, it's free, about a 10.5 MB download, and is only for windows PCs You can get it from http://earth.google.com/
