Thanks to joatmon I've been playing with Google Earth and I thought it would be fun if people posted kmz files of landmarks they have found. Here's one to kick things off:

in the keyhole markup language, solids are defined as a shaped base and a height, it doesn't support infintitely variable height objects such as the arch. Footprint x height gives a boxy shape

Cal.)...look at the line of cars! This is the busiest U.S./Mexico border (according to The U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency). It averages over 7,000 vehicles daily. Yeah, I saw that yesterday. I was like "Woah!" I hate that line.

Then create a placemark (thumbtack icon on the bottom right). Right click the newly created placemark and Save it to your local drive. When you post, attach the kmz file.
Here are several U.S./Mexico Border crossingsSan Ysidro,CA Border...look at the line of cars! This is the busiest U.S./Mexico border (according to The U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency). It averages over 7,000 vehicles daily. El Paso, Texas Border...This is the busiest border crossing for commerce.Calexico, Nogales, and Otay Mesa I looked up just for the heck of it.Sasabe, AZ desert...This is where the most number of illegal aliens enter the U.S., 2000 illegals walk across this desert daily. It takes them about 3 days to walk across the desert. You can't see much in Google Earth in this desert because it's too low res.

I almost wonder if it's some kind of easter egg photochopped in. I tried going over to terraserver and finding it but all I could find was a topo map, no sattelite photo.EDIT: I just found this link that talks about this. http://www.museumofhoaxes.com/.../3129/ Several comments underneath the little story.
