Gets me past my wife every time. Just tell her what a great deal it was and that it is a 1 time opportunity and you will never be able to get it that cheap again. Tell her it will lower your weight and engine temperature and increase your gas mileage! As for what color, I think on a black Vibe like yours the regular CF would be best, but that's totally up to you. BTW, I buy first then explain later! You can't return it!

I told her the hood only cost $200. She still said "the car doesnt need a new hood" (She says that EVERY SINGLE time I ask to get anew part" so I just say my rebuttle "we dont need ANYTHING but food air and water. We dont need a house we dont need a big tv we dont need anything, its a mater of what I want!" (removed) then she doesn't have anything left to say. But we did make a compromise. I proposed that if I save $200 for the hood and another $200 for school then she will let me get it. In reality I would have to save about $700 which is physically impossible for me to do at $5.75 an hour...I gues I wont be able to get the money in time. I'll talk to her one last time to see if I can buy the hood and then save the school money afte rI get it but I doubt that'll work.

Just post what it is, where to send the $$, how do we place our orders once it is approved for build, etc.. Just the general info. Let us know for sure what we're ordering here, what our options are, and how/who de we order them (from) with our options since it appears there may be different color options and maybe hood style options. Let us know via picture EXACTLY which hood we are getting here since there are variations and such.

Also, post the exact price difference of the kevlar blue and the kevlar silver carbon fiber hoods from the regular black carbon and the price of shipping. When will the group buy start and when will you all need the money. Lets us know when the product will be available to ship and the time frame to get it fully purchased. State whether it will be a different price to ship it to a home or business. Thanks in advance.

Well price is all going to depend on the scoop. If we are sticking with the M Scoop your looking at $465 plus shipping for the regular CF hood and $545 for the kevlar hood plus shipping..

When you say $545 for the kevlar hoods does include shipping or is there an additional cost? Will the hood fit like oem or will it need pins? hopefully not.

The 545 as I understand it is for the hood only. We are trying to find out about how much the shipping would be. The hood should be a direct EOM replacement, meaning it would fit and mount the same as stock. Pics (recycled from page 4):http://img.photobucket.com/alb...e.jpgh ... ..2.jpgBut these are NOT ACTUAL PICTURES OF THE VIBE HOOD!!! Just what they should look like when finished. Hopefully Havock will post the group buy with ALL the details soon!!!!

OK Here is the info.. so lets get this going... This is for the M Style Hood.. The hood is offered in Regular CF for $465 and Carbon Kevlar for $545 shipping will depend on where you live as we dont do set shipping average shipping cost is around $50-$80. The hood will have an OEM underside and latch so it will bolt right up and close normally. Hood pins arent required but are generally a good idea with any cf hood as they are light weight but like i said not required JSP does offer them for $29.99 for silver hood pins. After we get our 10 people or close to it enough that i can get the approval I will ask for the $50 deposit which can be paypal'd to sales@gogoracer.com or you can call the office 716-871-0262 and tell them you are putting the deposit down for the Genvibe Group Buy. **** do not do this until we have all 10 people or I get the OK***** The rest of the money will be due prior to the first hood shipping out and we will ship on a first pay basis. Anything else I forgot???

So you don't get your hood until you pay the rest of the balance...What if I were to make a down payment now and pay the rest of the hood off, say like May, June or July...would that work? I CAN wait for the hood but I just need time to save my @$$ off!

Ok to answer all the questions i have gotten.1. you can paypal or call and pay by credit card.2. Body shop can call direct to get parts no prob.3. When we confirm all 10 people we will get the $50 deposits from everyone.4. You will not recieve your hood until its paid for so if you put the deposit down and either make payments or dump all the money at once in a month or 2 or 3 you will not get your hood until its paid for. 5. The only colors available for this group buy are the Regular CF the Blue kevlar and the Silver Kevlar.6. We try to do electronic transfer such as credit card or paypal as its easier to process than money order but we can accept a money order if thats the only option you have.Any other questions feel free to ask.. lets get a head count and call this the official group buy

My recommendation is to start a new thread: GB for Carbon Fiber Hood, and that way all the buyers can post so we can get an accurate head count. Please post pics of the different colors and such so we can see what each of them looks like. This will make it easier to confirm the 10 people and those with questions and such can still post here. Just an idea.
