Sorry, I don't know what they actually call them. The auto transmissions that allow you to manually change the gears ( usually by a "+" or "-" area on the shifter).It seems like it would be a simple thing to make (if not to install). Has anyone ever seen such a thing? All you would need is just a simple push button assembly that interrupts the signals from the computer and manually tells the tranny when to shift and what direction... doesn't seem like a terribly complex invention. I've not seen one, just something I was wondering about.~ Z600

Yeah, I pretty much do that now at least from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. After that you don't have much control since it's an automatic. doesnt matterwhole point of a manual tranny is to have a clutchautos are too fragile for too much powerdont worry about finding a manumatic tranny...find us a higher stall torque converter
Many places will use the term "Tiptronic" shifter, or clutchless manual as well..
