I get 28-30 fairly consistently driving locally and I live on a mountain. I do try and limit my trips up and down the mountain, but I wouldn't consider myself a slow driver. The only change I have made is switching to Mobile 1 at 3k, I now have 15k miles on my 04.

When I purchased my vibe off the showroom floor it was missing.They ordered it for me took a couple of days to get it. Has stayed in so far.

I think they solved the safety problem by using less aggressive tires (all seasons tires) and now offer the combo on 04's. mine handles great . Of course they could have added something else that we don't realize but If you use the build option on the matrix site you can only get the moon & tune...
