Re: Towing with the VIBE

Oil cooler yes, that will be installed almost for sure, but your 09 has considerable more HP and Torque so my minimal 130 well when it was new, will likely be far more shift then you 09 vibe

Towing with the VIBE

I have been though the owners manual and find no mention of avoiding Overdrive while towing, other then that is basically says keep it under 1500 and avoid stopping harshly. I love my vibe and it never let me down but I want to haul me and my bros steel horse from north east Wisconsin to central Flo...

04 Cruse Control intermittent

I have been having random intermittent cruse issues. When driving usually when the vehicle is load more, such as 4 people and luggage, the cruse light will flicker for like .2 seconds and the cruse will drop. 99% sure it not brake petal/switch related. Most of the times is acts up are when I hit a d...

Re: 2004 Custom Rear 6x9 + moon and Tunes -delete (Stockintoshockin)

pretty much the conclusion is If you do a HU and speakers its will be better then M&T but the cost is a hurtle Mounting kit and HU = 200ish front speakers 160, rear speakers 170, custom professionally made box for my angled rear seats 100 then add wiring harness ant adapter bout 650 in parts and...

2004 Custom Rear 6x9 + moon and Tunes -delete

What I got there is a custom made 6x9 enclosure with Infinity Kappa, which is bolted to the cargo tracks on the back for the seats. This will defeat the split fold in the rear but you can still fold the seats down. I did not damage any anything in the back it could be put back in a couple hours. I c...

Re: 2004 VIBE M&T amp help! (joatmon)

well I can tell you from experience now. (1) The amp isn't evenly distributed power The front door receives more then the front tweeter and more then the rear speakers do. Also it is a 6 channel amp not 4. (2) In my case the rear speakers were quieter because, I believe they had aged or worn and les...

Re: All new speakers! Need help. (Envy03)

I have a component alpine set up in the front and this coming week I will be installing Infinity Kappa 6x9s in a Custom box made to attach to my rear seats, cause those door speaker aint much for bass. Re: Safe to go thru drive thru car wash? (ponta2147)

I specifically use the soft gloss washes they work better . it takes bit of force to take that antenna off like not having the garage door open the last 6 inches and backing in......snap 170 bucks later

I have a 2004 Vibe M&T with single disc factory HU. I have some tech questions. The front speakers were so so when i got my vibe i replaced them with a Alpine Component speaker in the factory locations. They sound better then stock. The rear speakers on the other hand play about 1/2 to 2/3's of ...
