I too will attempt to remove the blower motor as many members herehave done. I did the Velcro thing couple weeks ago on a more heavier house carpet and stuck it to the back seats and so far so good.Make sure it is a heavy duty velcro you use.

Thunderscreech, how did you remove the panels?Do they just pull off or do you have to remove the inside door cover?I too have scratched panels and don't look to nice. I would like to remove them as well and paint them.
