Re: Vibe stolen, and completely totaled.......... (Fialchar)

I can empathize with you! I was in Winnipeg for a 3 month work term and had my Jeep stolen the first week I was there and wrapped around a telephone post. 3 months of public tranportation was not much fun! As much as we love our cars, you have to remember that its just a car and shouldn't let it get...

Re: A/C without the A/C button (Mavrik)

Thanks for the responses! It seems like an ineffeceient design, doesn't it? The A/C died in my Grand Prix before I got rid of it and the windsheild defrost still worked. I believed that simply the air moving across the condesnation cleared it up without the dehumidifying effect of A/C. As well, whil...

A/C without the A/C button

Hi all,I wasn't sure where to ask this, so I thought I would start with the locals first. When I set my air selector to windsheild does it automatically turn on the A/C even though the light on the A/C button is not lit? @ reasons I believe this is so: 1) the air that blasts me in the face get freak...

Re: Twisted Seatbelt (NacolAnt94)

Hi Nacol! Its actually not that tough to do. Its tougher describing the process, though. Slide the latch low on the belt. Then, a few centimetres (or inches if you prefer) above the latch give the belt half a twist on itself. Sqeeze the fold to flaten it as much as you can. Then slide the latch slow...

RESOLUTION Re: Horny Power Locks (silverawd26)

Sorry I haven't replied sooner, all. The issued has been fixed! Silverawd26 was correct. There was a loose connection at the alarm console. It seems that there is an alarm unit installed whether one is ordered or not. It actually makes sense. The only place that the horn and power locks would come t...

Re: Cargo area mat

Thanks all! It was encase.ca that I was looking for. I think they are out of business now Tried calling and all numbers are out of service. I was in New Market this weekend and tried to drive by. The address was in the middle of a town house complex. Oh well, I will continue to look for alternatives...

Cargo area mat

Hi all! I'm new the new guy 'round here. I've been lurking for a while and remember a post about a company possibly in Aurora that makes and sells aftermarket cargo area mats. Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?EC

Horny Power Locks

When I locked the doors last night it sounded the horn! Unlock - honk! Lock - honk! I was in the car, running, and not using the remote. This is the second timr this happened. I tried to recreate it the problem but unfortunately it seems intermitant. Anyone else ever experience this or have any idea...
