Re: 2010 Vibe - Carbon Gray

@ vibenvy - thanks for the compliment! We needed a larger vehicle with automatic so that my wife can drive the car from 'time to time'. I already miss the fuel economy I was getting on the Vibe. @tpollauf - thanks for the location suggestion! I'm in Rochester, MI - north of Detroit (and you've proba...

Re: (Kincaid)

Any updates or additional photos on this topic, guys? Aftermarket lights may work with the OEM bezels if the bezels can accept a round light on the backside. I haven't seen a photo of the backside or of the OEM lights, but I'm thinking that the OEM lights may be fully round and rely on the bezel to ...

Re: Airbag door (Thunderscreech)

I don't think it will deploy by removing the cover. It needs a signal from one of the impact sensors which are usually located somewhere else in the vehicle. Good luck.

Nice looking cover. I remember when these things used to be standard on cars.

Good job on your cargo mat. That type of material is perfect for the application. I think it is sealed on the bottom which is good for spills.

It should reset itself when restarting. And yes you can turn it back on while you're driving if you turned it off.

Can anyone confirm that "disabling" the stability control completely disables the system? I often read about other Toyota systems not being able to be fully disabled. Haven't had enough snow here to try it out yet.

I would call Pontiac customer relations and have them document your concern. Ask them for some technical assistance before bringing your car back with the risk of something else going wrong.

Re: Chrome Exhaust Tip on 2009/2010 Vibes? (metaxa44)

Fellow Members, thanks for your help and insight. I think I bought the same one as Heinz1 at AutoZone. It installed very easily and was easy to position and attach using the hose clamp that was included. I made sure to put the screw at the top so that it can't be easily seen. Check out the attached ...

Re: (CarbonJohn)

Thanks for your support, fellow members! I will go back and demand a new seat cover as long as the seat doesn't need to be removed first. The fact that they want to spray and rub a CHEMICAL on my NEW seat is hard to digest. My car is brand new and deserves to be in perfect condition for the time bei...

Re: (ou.grizzly)

Good guess! I live less than 2 miles away but I think my future with them is looking dim. I won a free oil change a few months ago and decided to take advantage of it. Our salesperson was great but the service dept. needs to get their act together. Can you recommend an alternate Pontiac dealer in th...

Grease Stain on Seat from Dealer! Argh!

So I took in my '10 Vibe to the dealer yesterday for an oil change and door lock/unlock program and today I noticed 2 good-sized black spots on the seat cushion! 1,300 miles on my baby. Here I am trying to be careful and along comes a greasy rear on my new seat. I noticed that there was no seat prot...

That looks great. The length looks good too. I just picked-up one from Auto Zone but haven't had a chance to fit it. Thanks for the pic.

Re: (ou.grizzly)

Thanks for your quick responses. Based on another member's profile, I checked Pep Boys and they seemed to have a good selection of stainless steel / chrome tips but they were either too small to fit over our existing tailpipe or were too long. From what I measured from my car, I think a 5-6" ti...
