Any one in "hot" Florida using heavier weight oil ? I have 72K on my 06. Need to change the oil, was thinking 20-50 Castrol GT. Any reason why I should not ? I have used it in higher perf engines. It may not be right for this little 1.8 ? Thanks, Peter

Re: MY frostie will not start !! HELP (petervibe)

Well with some further checking, i noticed its a Delco , so it must be the original battery, most people do not replace with a Delco. I jumped it , it started almost immediately, then I killed it and it did the same , zippo nothing. Diagnosis: it all points to the BATTERY. 06 Vibe must be the factor...

Thanks, thats what I was afraid of. I picked up the factory 16's this am. All look ok one has some rust surface on the inside. I will use some rust jelly solution on it and clean it up. I know those aluminium wheels are very light. Thanks for checking that out for me.

What would u do ?

The options I have are : a set of SSR Type C 16x61/2 (silver) used but not much for 240.00 cash. OR a set of the 16x61/2 factory wheels used(some scuffs) at 200.00 cash. The SSR's are very light racing wheels . The Vibe is not used on the track, its an Auto, not 5 spd. and driven mostly by my wife. ...

Dave, thanks for your reply, yes SHE realy wanted a "new" beatle, but we realized they where a bit more pricy, and less practical. We have a flower shop in Largo Fl. and can use the Vibe for the smaller orders, and more, the Windstar for the larger orders(also white). We are parcial to white.
