If i remember correctly the 03 & 04 react better to the CIA. The 05+, when they went Drive-by-Wire, reacts better to the SRI

I am thinking in adding CAI to my 06 1.8 . Any experience with this item? Will it realy do anything performance wise or any difference in gas mileage better or worse ? thanks , Peter PS Cosmo has one for 95.00 +

I have had Cosmo and aFe SRI's in the past and both worked very well. you can acheive better gas mileage when you nor gunning it. It will give you more HP in the mid to upper rpm range but will sacrifice somw low end torque. It sounds cool so you may find yourself wanting to hear that sound which will in turn lower your gas mileage. If you can control yourself then it should work well for you.Peter: I still have the shiny nuts for sale if you still want them.
