Re: (keithvibe)

Really appreciate the advice! Very strange if it would be the ground since its only one light that goes out, but i will definitely check that out! One thing i forgot to mention about this faulty light. If i were to try to turn on my low beam HID's, both lights do actually ignite but after a split se...

Re: (Wolfman213)

Thanks for the advice, looks like that will be my only option as far as i can tell. Or just re-install my stock bulbs but then my 09 base model Vibe isn't as appealing to me!

Re: (Wolfman213)

i understand that, but here is my concern. these kits require a steady flow of 12V according to something i read over the net. At night, as soon as i turn on my car, literally not even a second later the HID low beams come on (or only one comes on at the moment;)). At the second my HID's are ignitin...

Re: HID issues (bull77)

The 09's have the high beams/DRL on a separate bulb altogether. the only thing HID on my car are the low beams. I was just wondering if the reason my ballast blew is because of the auto-low beam function?

HID issues

I bought a "cheap" HID kit through a friend. I don't even know what the make if it was but its definitely one of those generic no-name china made type. Basically everyone i know advised i shouldn't install that crap in my car, but i did anyway! So 6 months later sure enough, it appears one ...

I am thinking installing a new head unit and probably some speakers as well. I just have the base unit. I was pretty surprised at how much the doors vibrate at a relatively low volume as well. I was worried that an aftermarket head unit would look strange in the 09's because of the shape of the &quo...

Re: michelin pilot sports 225/40/18 question (gottabstick)

My buddy has a set of those tires on his 04' vibe. The ride is pretty good and not too harsh with the handling improved quite a bit due to the stiffer side wall. I believe the brand of tire he bought were Avon ultra high performance summer tires of of tire rack. I will be installing that same size m...

Re: Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor Reset ? 2009 Vibe (trasher)

I was planning on buying some new 18's from tire rack and they do sell tpm sensors. They have dropped in price significantly since I check that website all the time for specials . I have the 09' base model so I was planning to keep those 16" steelies for the winter. When i first got my vibe (se...
