Re: Check Engine + SensaTrac + VSC OFF *flashing*

I'm having a similar issue with my 2009 FWD w/ 2.4 liter engine...P0138 and P0607 thrown intermittently after several days of steady rain along with a solid orange traction control light and blinking "VSC Off" (pretty sure the traction control / VSC lights are standard when the CEL light i...

Had it checked out at Advance Auto Parts yesterday - code indicated a very small fuel evaporation leak. I removed and reinstalled the gas cap to make sure it was tight and had him reset the code...hasn't come back yet.I researched this for a while yesterday, and it sounds like it's standard for the ...

Noticed when I got home from work that the coolant reservoir cap was off. Put it back on and going to try to have AutoZone scan the OBD-II code(s) tomorrow if the lights are still on.

Traction Control and Check Engine lights solid, VSC Off blinking in '09 Vibe

I started up my car this morning and noticed that my Traction Control and Check Engine lights were solid orange and "VSC Off" was blinking. I drove 35 miles home from work last night with no issues or lights and 35 miles to work this morning with no problem (except for lights on).Not a ter...

Ouch...apparently I missed the boat on the warranty. According to http://www.gm.com/vc/gmcertifi....html: ... 2,000-Mile** Bumper-to-Bumper WarrantyIt's been a busy year...definitely drove over 20k miles already. Oh well, in that case there's no rush to get this fixed I guess.

Loose interior doorframe plastic on 2009

I've had my 09 Vibe for almost a year now, and I'm noticing that some of the interior plastic is starting to come loose...I bought it Certified Pre-Owned, and it's under Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty until the middle of April, so I'd like to get this taken care of ASAP if it's going to require a trip to...

screw in tire...possible to patch/plug? - photos included

I've been losing about 10psi/week on my rear passenger tire, so I took it in to NTB this morning to get a patch. They told me they couldn't patch it because it's too close to the sidewall. I'm no tire expert, but it looks to me like there's a solid inch or more between the screw and the sidewall. Th...

I've noticed this in every car I've ever driven, but I agree that it's especially noticeable in the Vibe.Kind of nice in the summer/winter to keep the car warm or cool without blasting yourself with air. However, I've had plenty of instances where I thought to myself "Why is my car so warm/cold...

5w-30 in a 2009 Vibe?

I recently purchased a Certified Used 2009 Vibe w/ 2.4L engine. I took it to the closest GM dealership yesterday for its first oil change, because I figured a GM dealership ought to do it right...On my way to work this morning, I noticed that the oil change sticker on my windshield says they used 5W...
