Re: (Sublimewind)

That's right. I was thinking about my dirty socks so I guess that is why I typed Kenmore instead of Kenwood.

New wheels, finally

Finally bought new wheels. American racing Chrome Casino and Michelin Primacy MXV4. I did have Michelin Hydroedge but found them to become noisy as the mileage on the tires increased. Badges have been removed, windows tinted, replaced factory speakers and added a Kenmore radio with usb and aux. inpu...

Re: (star_deceiver)

There are a couple of tabs under the arm. Just gently pry and the cover will come up and expose the nut.

Re: Rear wiper spring tension (kcorona)

The back wiper does not get pulled from the glass often therefore the pivot in the arm closest to the pivot point will get sticky or seized. So as the blade wears down, tension on the blade decreases. Lift the cover on the arm at the windshield and remove the nut. Lift the windshield wiper arm off t...

Re: maple keys in air filter box (djkeev)

maple keys in air filter box

I have a strange one. I am finding maple tree keys in my air filter box. There are enough keys to fill the air box. Must have some kind of animal getting in there at night and bringing his lunch with him. Anybody else have this problem. If so, How did you fix it? I put some fibreglass screening over...

Re: Anti freeze smell (BHaebe)

I had the same thing on 07 Vibe with 12,000 km. Look from under the engine at the bottom of the water pump. If you see a discoloration or wet mark on the bottome of the water pump, it is leaking. You can put dye in the cooling system and pressure test to verify.

Re: water pump leaking (hman33)

I have a 07 Vibe with about 20,000 km. I had a strong smell of antifreeze. Took it to one dealership , then went to a different dealership. They pressure tested the system, put dye in it and I drove it around for a couple thousand more km.. The water pump was leaking and had to be replace. The first...
