Re: Is this worth selling? Would I find a buyer?

Thanks all. My big issue with the vehicle is that once repaired, were I to keep driving it, I know I would abuse it again, and probably blow another clutch. Hence the buying a truck plan. I'm glad to hear you all think there is a market for it, hopefully I can find someone who will put it back toget...

Re: Is this worth selling? Would I find a buyer?

Yes, I am in Toronto, Ontario. So that is 210k km, yes. I would love to keep it and fix it myself, but I fear that would be biting off more than I can chew. Especially since I just did the brakes right before the clutch went. It is the second clutch, as I have used the car for a fair bit of towing, ...

Is this worth selling? Would I find a buyer?

2005 Vibe, base model. Red, about 210k on it. Clutch has just died, I need to move to a truck for the work I do, quoted 1500-2000 to replace the clutch. I won't get that back if I were to sell it, and don't need 2 vehicles. It is scrapped at this point? Engine and body are in great shape, just the c...

Paint Repairs

Hey,I went away with my canoe on the roof of my vibe, and on the way home the foam pads slipped out and the boat rubbed the hell out of my roof.Right down to the bare metal. It's not badly gouged, but it is rubbed bare.I figured I could take care of it myself, but wanted some advice. My plan:Sand the...

Shutting down the seatbelt alarm

Is there any way to do this?I often use my vibe for carrying stuff, and the front passenger seats gets heavily laden sometimes. This makes the car think someone is sitting there and will beep at me every time I tun it on.I am thinking I might just remove the speaker (or unplug it) but wondering if th...

I was thinking of running down to the below shifter storage, just not sure about having power down there too.I do like the ability to have it accessible when in the car though, maybe I can find some adaptable holder for it.

iPod/MP3 General Survey

Hey all,I did a road trip with my new vibe (05, 5 spd, Red... aaaah) and I used my belkin cigarette lighter FM transmitter.I have a question for anyone who uses an external MPS player... where do you put it? It was very annoying up beside the steering wheel, blocking the half the temp controls.I am ...

Cool, thanks guys.So the question really is, can I find a 5 speed with a sunroof.I do a lot of long haul trips, so while I do enjoy a zippy car (I am making the transition from a 2.0L VW GTI, sigh) the fuel economy is first thing for me.Well, have to keep looking.THX

5spd vs 6spd

Hey All,I am looking at getting a vibe, and had a couple questions.Manual is the only option for me, I hate auto, and I wanted to get one that has a few extras, sunroof namely. The trouble comes in finding a 5spd manual that isn't just a base vibe, in the $10-12k range. There are some available in th...
