My cladding was all scarred up along the bottom. I cut away the scarred portion with a razor blade and then used vinyl trim conditioner- like Tireshine on it.

Only issue with my 04 is on the front. The bugsplats have eaten right through it. I would love to have the whole urethane portion of the frontend just like the Lower "plastic" portion. I can use mild scotchbrite on that and it cleans up so nice.

Probably 35% city. 27 has been the highest until now. Pretty sure this is just from higher tire press. I am running at 38f 35r I can feel the s...

Well I removed my roof crossbars yesterday. It was 50 deg. Today is 24 and spitting snow. Of course I broke "both" trims where the plastic pin holds it. 3m 2 part epoxy to the rescue and they snapped into place like new.

I need door speakers next for mine. I just did a rear sub/amp and it sounds so much better. Before I could barely run 20 volume on my HU now I can get close to 30 before the door speakers start distorting. Maybe the sub is just covering it up or using some of the power so the door speakers are getti...

Wow that is pretty high. I put Cooper CS4 Touring tires on a year ago. I bought them the day we had a 8" snow last year. The ones that came on the car wore like iron but were totally helpless in snow. These do 100% better. I know what you mean about the crossbars, they were less than a 1/2"...

That makes me feel better about the tire pressure. I'm a little hesitant to run 40 out back but if I get the front back too different it would probably upset handling. So I will keep an eye on it and maybe go with 38 all around. I average the same mpg. summer and winter unless we get a lot of snow, ...

Tire pressure - crossbars and mpg.

I know this has probably been beat to death. I looked for a recent thread and they were all a couple years old. If there is one let me know and I will post on it and let this one die I have an 04 Vibe base auto 2 wd I've had it 2 years and have put almost 40,000 mi. on it. It is almost 180,000 now. ...

Re: Uknown button, 2005 Vibe; below A/C switch (gunzy)

They make units like Zune where you can tune the radio to something like 88 MHz and the little unit will transmit your mp3 at that frequency and your radio picks it up. Myself , I picked up a Kenwood HU for 119 dollars that has the input.

I am not sure about the fuels but the poster that made comment about Reid Vapor pressure seemed to know. Part of the problemmay be that 99% of the gas they sell is 86-87 octane these days instead of 91-92 being the norm. Maybe with lower octane and using ethanol just to reach 87 it is making it to w...

An airfoil of some sort would surely make a difference. For the grill you might look at a surplus store or home depot for some stamped alum. I actually used a piece of gutter guard for a similar project.. I am cheap.

I am having the same issue but I do have a CEL because of poor catalyst efficiency. It makes my car idle higher when cold but goes to normal once warmed up. Mine is running near 2000 rpm. When cold. Having one heck of a time getting another pic up. When I tried to put up another it replaced the first one So, I decided I would reply to my own post to put up another. I hope the mods are ok with this. Btw The plexi on my volume is to cut the glare at night. The HU won't dim enough for me.

Finally a sub-on a budget !

I finally got a sub in the Shadow Vibe. I found a 10" Kicker in a box on Craigslist for $35 then I picked up an 800 w Lanzar at a pawn shop for $50 and finally a 680 w wiring kit for $ 25 at Walmart. A few hours later in a friends heated shop and we got Bass now. I terminated everything first a...

Don't let them try to brush you off with a fuel additive. I agree. I have put well over the 1000 mi. since I bought it. The warranty is only 50/50 so I pay half.
