CEL came on for the first time ever

Hi! I have a 2003 Pontiac Vibe, 95000 miles. Never had a problem with this car....I love it!! Today my CEL came on. I had a new battery installed a week ago and the manual mentions something about this. Gas cap is on tight, I took it off and put it back on to check. I was on a 3 hour trip and everyt...

Do not know anyone who is a mechanic. I did put Seafoam in the gas tank yesterday and it does seem to be revving better today. I was only checking the tranny fluid as a precaution. I would love to be able to take it in and have it checked out but I just do not have the money. It would actually be ea...

Thanks for the info Keith...this single mom appreciates it! I have been doing quite a bit of reading on this and I have come across numerous posts that say to "drop the pan, drain, and add more fluid".....do I need to do this or can I just safely add more fluid the way you said? Thanks aga...

fuel line problem?

I have a 2003 Vibe, 86000 miles. Never had a problem except brake pads until now. Sometimes when I put it in drive and press on the gas it will roll back, rev high, jerk, then go. It also does this now and then if I come to a stop and start to go again. Last week I had to break somewhat sharply at a...

According to my brother, the fuse that runs the pump also runs about 6 other things. I assumed that if the other things are running that the fuse is fine.

windshield washer problem

Hey. My windshield washer fluid won't come out! Nothing is frozen and nothing is plugged. I did notice that I do not hear any noise when I try to "squirt" it. Pump?? If so 1) how do I tell and 2)can I replace it myself?Nothing in the manual to help. Thanks!!

Re: Got some grinding 2003 Vibe (keithvibe)

Thanks for the response. It's got 73000 miles on it...always kept up with oil, etc. Not sure if the brakes have been redone. My ex-husband always kept up with taking care of things. I will find our from him. I am just worried that my brakes are gonna give, or my tire fall off and I have a 5 year old...

2003 Vibe rear wiper

Hey. So my rear wiper won't work. After about 10 tries, it might move about an inch and then stick. Any ideas??
