2003 Vibe rear wiper

Hey. So my rear wiper won't work. After about 10 tries, it might move about an inch and then stick. Any ideas??

Hi and welcome to genvibeThere are a couple of threads about similar problemshttp://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=21557http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=23299In each of those, a genviber had their rear wiper motor burn up, and the cited cause was that salt and other road grime had gotten under the cover on the motor shaft, causing it to seize. Hopefully, yours is still good but just gunked up, fixable by a minor disassembly and cleaning. Hopefully. You might want to check to see if the the wiper motor is getting really hot while the car is running
