Thanks for bringing this issue up and thanks to all for clearly describing where to look. I've had my 2009 Vibe for a year now and had never noticed the missing paint until this morning. Guess I'm off to the dealer this week!

Re: 09 GT - Wheel Center Cap Fell Out (BahamaTodd)

Hey Bahama Todd,2 of my centre caps fell out, so I went to my dealer's parts department and the guy there said that I should talk to service as that is definitely covered by warranty. By the day of my appointment, a third one had come out! They said that it was a common problem with the 2009's and t...

Re: (zoobernaut)

I do have cruise, and used it in the Fall but have stopped using it now that it's winter and a little more slippery out. Let us know how you do for mpg :-)

Re: (ou.grizzly)

Just a quick update.... the dealership was pretty helpful to me and they've ordered the part again - hopefull this time the right part gets shipped Now that I've looked a little closer at my car and the pictures of the right net (the one with the loops), I'm unsure of how it will attach to the car. ...

Thanks ou.grizzly - looks like you're probably right. I'll stop at the dealership tomorrow and hopefully get the right part!

Convenience Net for 09 Vibe

I got the convenience/cargo net for my 09 Vibe as a Chrismtas gift, but can't seem to figure out how it attaches to the car.I'm wondering if the cargo net that I got is for a different vehicle, or if I'm trying to install it incorrectly. I'm trying to put hook it up vertically, just inside the hatch...

Re: 09 Vibe GT Fuel Question/Concern (dopeman127)

I feel your pain.... I have an 09 Vibe FWD and the most I got so far was 402 km on a tank of gas, with the low fuel light on. Most of my km are highway, and according to the window sticker I should be getting close to 41 mpg. I'm currently getting about 23 Imperial mpg now that it's winter, and was ...

Re: 2.4 L 09 Vibe - Disappointing Gas Mileage (musicmanmu)

I think I'm a pretty good driver and even more conscious about driving smoothly and at the speed limit than ever before, to try and increase the gas mileage. Forgot to mention before that I have a 5-speed automatic with the tap-shifting (no idea how to use that!) and 5500 km (3400 miles). Have you h...

2.4 L 09 Vibe - Disappointing Gas Mileage

My 2009 2.4L Vibe has not been getting the gas mileage that I thought it would. I'm very disappointed so far and have asked the service and sales departments at the dealership for help but they can't or won't look into it and say that "it is what it is" and that some vehicles take up to 30...

Re: Remote Starter Recommendations? (farmerboy71)

I ended up going with an Astrostart, installed by the dealership. I went with the super basic model, with just one button. My car key already has the remote door locks, so didn't need the extra bells and whistles of the upgraded remote starter. The one I got is very small (1.5 cm square) and cost ab...

Re: (lowincash)

Thanks for the fast reply Forgot to say before that the majority (80% or more) of my km's is highway driving, and I usually go 110km/hr. I've heard rumours that using synthetic oil can improve gas mileage -- any ideas if that works, or any other suggestions from anybody?TIA

Re: (lowincash)

I have a 2009 2.4 L Vibe with less than 1500 km and am surprised how low the gas mileage is so far. For the last three 40 L fill ups, I've gotten between 399 and 402 km, which amounts to around 22 mpg (US) or 27 mpg (Imp). How long does it take to break a new car in? My sales person told me I should...

Re: Remote Starter Recommendations? (SmAshley)

Thanks a lot for the advice! Unfortunately we don't have a Best Buy here, and I don't think the Future Shop here does installs. In fact, it was really hard to find any place that would committ to a date and/or price - weird, could be the labor shortage here, but customer service levels are somewhat ...

Remote Starter Recommendations?

Hi Everyone, I've been lurking around the site for a little bit while I was making my mind up about what car to buy but this is my very first post. I picked up my carbon grey 2.4 L FWD on Friday and so far am loving it!I'll be installing a remote starter before winter and am looking for advice on wh...

I just bought my Vibe in Saskatoon yesterday, and the 0% for 60 months, 1.9% for 72 months is still on.
