Off Idle Hesitation (cold)

Hello.I searched the forums but didn't find much info.I have a 2007 base Vibe (auto) with less than 30k miles. When I start in the morning and initially drive off, all is normal. The first time I slow down to 'stop' (or very slow roll) and go to accelerate again.........I press on the accelerator and...

Re: Side rocker panels? (KITT222)

Excellent, Kitt222. My Vibe looks much like yours but I have the rocker panel extensions and/or side skirts.I wonder if they can simply be removed from my Vibe.Thanks.

Re: Side rocker panels? (DopeVibeGT)

Rise! Rise! I command this thread to rise from the dead. NO replies, huh? I was hoping to find just such a post on the forums. Did you ever remove those rocker panel extensions? My 2007 Vibe has them, but I kinda like the look of Vibes that do not.

Re: Blower Motor noise on A/C Only (forlornb4)

I also stumbled across this thread while searching for an answer and wonder if you solved your problem.I have a similar problem I noticed after replacing the cabin air filter. The blower motor in my vibe vibrates....it can be heard more than felt, but it can be felt by placing your hand below the gl...

Re: Blower motor vibration (MarkM04)

Sorry to resuscitate this, but did you ever take care of your problem?I've seen some of the other threads but a lot of them deal with the blower motor dying, not so much with the vibration after filter change. That's exactly what seems to have happened with mine. Thanks,

My 2007 does this...This is "normal." I had a 2001 Civic EX that did the same thing....When you replace the front brake pads, it might go away (hopefully).

What is SO dirty in gasoline that we need the top shelf cleaning / detergent additives?I've left carbureted ATV's off for years and have witnessed the gummed up varnish left behind. That needed some REAL cleaning! If you use your car everyday, though, I just don't see that happening.Gasoline prefere...

Re: (ned23)

Someone else touched on this already regarding cleaning additives.Though some 'premium' fuels also include more/better cleaning additives, the government does require a minimum amount in ALL fuels, including 87 "regular." This further negates one of the benefits of premium fuel, the cleani...

Re: Automatic transmission fluid change (djb383)

Hmmm...what does the manual say (if anything)? On the Honda Odyssey, for example, you can change the tranny fluid one of two ways:1) With the machine that flushes out all the old fluid and replace with new fluid.or2) Via the drain plug. Drain, refill, drive.....drain, refill, drive....drain, refill, ...

Re: keeping rear window clean (hskater26)

This probably won't help with water / mud / wet stuff, but as far as dust on the rear window, here is something I *READ ABOUT* on the Honda Odyssey forums some time ago:After you clean your rear window, rub a USED (from the dryer) fabric softener sheet on the outside of the window.Don't use a new sh...

Re: Moon & Tunes Owners: Aftermarket HU Installation Tip (Leon_SPb_Rus)

I bought my Vibe used. It has an AM/FM/XM CD head unit (no MP3) and a subwoofer in the right rear corner panel with "Monsoon" on it. Is this the M&T package or the equivalent?

New-ish Member Intro

Hello everyone,Nelson, here, from South Florida. I have been lurking for several months, now, but hadn't really taken any pictures of my new (to me) 2007 Vibe. It's a base model with automatic transmission and the stereo with the subwoofer in the rear panel. I bought it used with about 8800 miles.He...

Maybe a correction to my own previous (and very long) post:Here's a quote from a fellow odyclub.com forum member. KIND OF goes with what I said before, but he may be more 'on the nose' than I was:"...FL requires all service contract providers to file actual rates with the state; dealers may not...

Re: (removed)!!! Florida law prevents dealers from discounting the GM Protection Plan? (bwflorida)

I came across something similiar when purchasing the Hondacare Extended Warranty for our 2007 Honda Odyssey. I've never been a big fan of extended warranties, but we purchased one for our 2001 Odyssey (7yrs / 100k miles / $0 deductible) and our transmission died right around 6 yrs & 9 months! Wh...

Re: (IBx1)

I just bought a 2007 Vibe (base 1.8 auto) and couldn't be happier. I, too, was looking for good fuel mileage. While we didn' tget rid of our Honda Odyssey, we will keep it parked more often. It's too soon to calculate my mileage figure, but I KNOW it wasted very little fuel on the 120+ mile drive ho...
