i love how i called up my dealership today and asked them what needs to be done and how much it would cost for the 60 k service. They told me transmission, 4 wheel drive (even though i dont have it), and than a few other things estimated at 1200 $. They can kiss my @$$. Theives

03 gt 60k maintenance

Hey guys, when I bought my 03 vibe GT i got it used and havnt been able to get my ands on the owners manual and 60k miles is jsut around the corner. Culd some one please post what needs to be done for the 60k maintenance. Thanks

Those pics are great and that is the sensor im talking about. but after installation what are both ends of the check valve hose attacked to? Or is that also removed

so i found a great photo instruction and from waht i can tell you scrap both the brown sensor and 3 valves, one coming from the engine/ throttle body that connects to the check valve which than connects to a "t", and than the other two coming off the "t". Can any one confirm this...

yup thats exactly what im talkin about. I capped it and the only thing buggin me now is that i have the check valve coming off the engine suckin air and nothing to conect it to. I went to a mechanic and he suggested just plugging it. So right now it simply has a screw in it keeping it plugged. The e...

Naw its not the MAF its a brown sensor that was origanally on the front left side of the air box and had 2 valves connected to it

so u jsut left that brown sensor attached to the wheel wall but not actually pluged into anything?

I installed the AFE cold air intake on my 03 Vibe GT today and was baffled at how pathetic the instructions were. My problem is what to do with the sensor that is attached to the front left side of the air box and valves connected to it. Its a brown sensor with a smal black cylinder attached to it. ...
