Re: (04shadowvibe)

I think I did get very lucky with mine, I was not even looking for it but had been wanting a Vibe, I went into a neighboring town to look at a Rav4...it was a POS.On my way driving back to the expressway, I saw the Vibe out of the corner of my eye and stopped on the next block. I ran back and took a...

Good luck with whatever it may be.When I changed my oil, I did not even raise the car, just slid an oil pan underneath and got on my back. This car is easy especially for the oil filter. All my previous vehicles have had a much more difficult oil filter to get at.

After reading this thread, I may try to see if keeping mine at sixty-five does help. I am not a fast driver but this Vibe can easily climb up quick over seventy. This past Friday I filled up at 2.85 a gallon, not bad considering what it is here 3.44. Never did I think I would cross over to Mexico to ...

Last night when I read this, I glanced over it as I had been at a fair all day so my skim reading was not that good.I thought you said it had 86,000 but I see it only has 66,000 which is twenty thousand better than what I was thinking when I responded earlier.Still, hearing your description, it does...

Seems quite high to me with the issues and mileage and for the year, but I got my Vibe a 2005 for $9000.00 and it was barely over 50,000 miles. It has no issues or things required to be done. Mine is not loaded but then I have no need for a bumper guard as it has all the plastic body molding which IM...

Re: Keyless Entry Bulldog in 2004 Vibe - Any Advice? (Blueridge9)

I know Bulldog has some one wire and two wire alarms that make install super simple, they claim like 10-20 minute installs.Myself, I had a Valiant installed, I took my Vibe over to Mexico and the guy that did mine had been working in auto electric all his life including some years in the US. It ende...

Been using Ubuntu since Feisty first came out, upgraded to Gutsy but downgraded to Feisty as it was not ready for prime time back then. They have a new release at the end of the month, something like Hardy Heron..?Anyways I will probably stick with Feisty a while longer before upgrading. Re: (Whelan)

I agree it is very informative, I am learning a thing or two about lighting. Lot;s of decisions to be made. I think I am going to opt for the xenon headlights with overlays for the fogs. Personally I do not think for my driving needs I can justify HID lighting. As for fog lights, are LED's the way to...

I see I have some catching up to do on fog lights etc.Are the custom lexan covers similiar to these?http://snipurl.com/246a6 [www_headlightarmor_com] Not sure I quite understand your arrangement, you have HID for low beams and OEM for hi beams... so you are using two different bulbs for your headlig...

Whelan,Thanks for the detailed description with pics.I had figured that the 9005/6 were used for the fog lights, but was not clear and you made it crystal on the 9003.I do not do that much driving at night, have a three year old so it is mainly when he goes to the drive inn.I may get the HIR for my ...
