What is the lowest sales price for the 2009 1.8L automatic with preferred package (power locks, etc) and AC that folks are seeing? I just got an out-the-door price of $18.2K including tax, destination, fees (this was a labor day and employee discount sale price). Good, or could I do better?

Are you saying that "Motor Trend" is biased against the Vibe because of the American GM connection and the fact the Vibe is equivalent to the Matrix proves it, OR do you think the "Motor Trend" comparison of Vibe and Matrix is an accurate reflection of real differences??

How is the smaller engined Vibe? Very nice mpg, but does it have enough rev on the highway? The old Vibes/Matrices seemed to have the smaller engine and I see 'em on the freeway.

Why buy a new 09 Vibe that instantly depreciates when I take it off the lot versus a gently used 08 or 07 Vibe or Matrix with equivalently loaded (if possible) features? The 09 Vibe has a lot of standard goodies that the old Vibe or new Matrix has as only options.

By service, I mean which dealer in general is more consumer friendly, fair, Pontiac or Toyota?

Any issues with the ECM failing? Volvo has some trouble with these.
